To win in Teamsters Trivia you must be one of first two people correctly answered the question of the contest (Only ONE submission per person, Per Month please. Any additional entry will be discarded).

The question is updated once a month, so please check with us often.

The winners will be determined by the arrival date and time of the correct answer.

1st place winner - $50.00 VISA card
2nd place winner - $25.00 VISA card

The winners will be contacted by the email provided in the answer form below.

The prizes will be awarded at the following month General Membership Meeting (GMM) or by USPS mail if the winner is unable to attend GMM.

Q: In the 1960's, bids went up at Terminal Transport.  Two senior black members decided to come off the night shift and drive.  On the first day of driving, one black member had his load refused because of his color.  The company then took the position they could not exercise their seniority and had to return to the midnight shift or be terminated.  What did Local 79 President Manuel Fernandez do?
